- Automatic refilling of the open surface evaporation pond with 100-liter water tanks. There is a tank float in the 100-liter water tank for measuring the water level. The amount of water remaining in the tank is provided as a variable from SDI12 and RS485 outputs. The system will issue a warning from its digital outputs when the water level in the tank falls below 25%.
- With the PT100 temperature sensor, it is possible to access daily minimum, maximum, and instantaneous water temperature information.
- Daily evaporation amount and daily 10-minute evaporation data are provided from digital outputs.
- The sensor performs evaporation measurements based on a surface area of 1.144 m². However, this measurement can be changed via SDI12 or RS485 commands if desired.
- The distance between the sensor and the boiler is 150 cm, preventing the shadow of the water tank from falling on the boiler.
- The platform on which the sensor and the boiler will be placed is made of single-piece impregnated wood. The bottom of the boiler is manufactured with intervals for adequate air circulation.
- As the sensor works with water, it issues a warning when the air temperature drops below zero to avoid unwanted results due to expansion.
- In cases of excessive rainfall and overflow, the amount of overflow water is measured with a flowmeter and this value is included in the measurement as a separate variable.
- A hole at the bottom of the evaporation boiler allows for draining the water inside during cleaning by attaching a valve or valve.
